Pick the client
Open the client in Client management. The client portal sits on the client page.
Give access
Turn on the client portal. SmartWerk creates a link that is shown only once, so copy it right away.
Share the link
Copy the link yourself, or let SmartWerk email the client an invitation when the client has a valid email address.
Revoke or renew
Revoke access when the job is done, or create a new link. The previous link then stops working.

Does my client need a SmartWerk account?
No. Your client opens the link you share and does not have to create an account or log in.
Which documents does my client see?
Sent quotes, contracts, sent invoices and the status of ongoing or completed projects for that client. Drafts and your internal hours, costs and mileage are not shown.
Can I revoke access?
Yes, at any time. The link then stops working. You can also create a new link; the previous one stops immediately.
How long does a client link stay valid?
A link is valid for up to 90 days and you can revoke it sooner. Your documents simply stay in SmartWerk afterwards.
Can my client pay through the portal?
No. The portal is an overview with downloads; online payment is not available there. Your client pays an invoice the way you agreed with them.
